Out of this World: A digital immersion sound bath at Telus Spark

Step into a profound multi-sensory experience at "Out of This World: A digital immersion sound bath" hosted by Somatika in TELUS Spark's Digital Immersion Gallery. 

As you enter the gallery you will find yourself surrounded by floor-to-ceiling projectors casting mesmerizing scenes of stars, galaxies, and spacecraft launches. Inspired by the awe-inspiring "SPACE: A Journey to the Moon and Beyond," this event invites you to unwind amidst interactive and visually stunning projections.

Telus Spark's digital immersion gallery features a 360-degree projection system designed to completely envelope the visual environment

To begin the session, Kelley from Your Divine Assignment will offer us a look into the astrology of the Aries Full Moon, also known as the Hunter's Moon before we move into a gentle breathing exercise and soothing sound bath.

As you begin to feel grounded into your mat, projections of nebulae, lunar landscapes, and saturn’s rings will fly by as the room fills with the soothing frequencies of crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and ocean drum, allowing for an entrancing sound journey into the ethers. We invite you to arrive at 7:20pm to view the show before we begin the sound bath at 7:45pm. We welcome you to lounge afterwards, taking in more of the show as you come back into your body.

Sound healing works by using specific frequencies to synchronize brainwaves into a slower state, enducing relaxation, meditation, and stress reduction. What do I need to bring?:

A yoga mat, blanket and pillow. 

Comfortable clothing is recommended.

Eye mask for preferred darkness.

Arrival & Parking Information:

Parking is included in Admission.

Doors will be open for you to arrive from 7:20-7:45pm.

Please consider arriving with enough time to get comfortable and take in the digital immersion gallery show prior to beginning the sound bath at 7:45pm, you will have an additional 20 minutes of viewing times after the session, as well.

Please note: Due to set up and the nature of our services we cannot allow early or late entry, we kindly request you arrive for 7:20pm

This is an after hours event, and admission only includes entry to the Gallery. The remainder of the science centre will remain closed.
