Step into a dreamlike evening of sound and wellness at The Westin’s newly renovated top floor pool in Downtown Calgary, and join us for Floating Frequencies, a carefully curated floating sound bath experience designed to leave you deeply relaxed.
Choose to float weightlessly on an air mattress on the pool, or lounge poolside in a cabana for two, or a lounge chair during a soothing sound bath of crystal singing bowls, chimes, ocean drums, and gong frequencies. Allowing them to carry you into deep relaxation, enhanced by the gentle movement and sound of water.
Sound healing works through a process called entrainment where the brain and body naturally begin to synchronize with external vibrations. Instruments like crystal bowls and gongs produce frequencies that can encourage a shift from active brain states (like beta waves) into slower, restorative states…
